December Autotest

On a very wet and windy afternoon in December 7 competitors undertook to brave the gales in order to enjoy an afternoon of motor sport. One regular competitor missing for this event was Eric Trump who was otherwise engaged wioth the Mini Club on their Christmas Run.

Driving a Rover 200 Dave Williams was forced to retire due to work commitments, however Nigel Ozanne tried really hard even though he had problems both remembering and being able to see the course, to finish in sixth place.

Sharing an Escort were Scott Rayson, Peter Jory and Tim Torode. This proved an awkward vehicle for this sport but Tim drove it the best of the 3 followed by Peter.

Seperated by only 18 seconds the Dorey brothers topped the scoring again driving their Metro, with Peter gaining top honours again for the second time this season leaving him leading the Championship from brother Martin(Bimbo) by 1 point.

The second half of the season begins on January 13th at Alliance, with events at The Bowl  and Alliance scheduled for February and March
